Examines the biophysical, social, and managerial effects of outdoor recreation activities with an emphasis on planning, assessment, and monitoring. Students will review current knowledge concerning recreation impacts and critical problems affecting contemporary recreation management. Students will also learn and practice methods for quantifying recreation use and impacts, including research, data collection, analysis, and reporting techniques and methods.
