Description:
This course will provide a foundational overview of the discipline of bouldering within the sport of rock climbing. It will focus on movement techniques and skill building while also providing insight into history, ethics, and issues that face the bouldering community. Students should anticipate and be prepared to climb up to a level of at least 12 feet while using padding and spotters for protection. This course includes an outdoor trip to a local area that will likely occur on a weekend. Essential Eligibility Criteria can be found on the ORPT program website. (Fall, Spring) [Graded Letter]
