Teaches foundational understanding of web design principles, tools, and techniques. Examines the fundamentals of creating visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive websites. Topics include HTML, CSS, web accessibility, and the principles of good design. Includes hands-on projects, to teach students how to structure content, design layouts that adapt to various devices and screen sizes. Requires no prior coding or design experience. Requires the creation a fully functional website and an understanding of best practices in web design.. Lab access fee of $45 for computers applies.
