Prerequisite(s): (EGDT 1600 and EGDT 1610) or MATH 1060 or equivalent.. Introduces NCEES Fundamentals of Surveying (FS) exam elements. Reviews core knowledge areas tested on the FS exam including mathematics, basic sciences, geodesy, and measurement analysis. Solves FS-style practice problems while devising test-taking strategies. Practices using the NCEES FS Reference Handbook as a resource in solving problems. Develops calculator and computational skills necessary for taking the FS exam.
