This course explores ethical issues that arise with the development and implementation of artificial intelligence technologies. While many have pointed out the promise of AI to do good for humanity through developments in such areas as medical technology, business optimization, and climate solutions, there are also many ethical concerns regarding the development and implementation of AI technologies. These include privacy and security, bias and discrimination, threats to intellectual property, exploitation, ecological destruction, and more. In this course, we will discuss these topics and others to get a sense of the ethical implications of AI technologies in the modern world. (Fall - 1st Session, Spring - 2nd Session) [Graded Letter] Prerequisite(s): MGMT 6100 - Prerequisite Min.
