This course is designed to advance proficiency in applying evidence-based practice (EBP) to clinical decision-making in the Family Nurse Practitioner role. Learners will develop skills in formulating clinical questions, critically appraising research, evaluating clinical guidelines, and integrating patient values with the best available evidence. Emphasis is placed on improving quality of care, patient safety, and health outcomes across the lifespan through the translation of research into primary care practice. Students will strengthen competencies in information literacy, interdisciplinary collaboration, and dissemination of evidence-based innovations, preparing them to deliver safe, ethical, and effective care in diverse healthcare settings.
